One more week

I'm down to single digits in my countdown! Woo! I feel like my excitement has come to the point of bubbling over. My life is being consumed by everything Disney.

This next week is going to be packed...literally. ;) I've got to make sure I have everything in order for Florida. It's going to be a long seven months, so I can't afford to leave anything behind. It's not as simple as driving across town to pick up what I need from home. Ha.

Not only do I need to pack up my whole life to take with me to Florida this week, but I also need to make time to see everyone I care about before I leave. I'm going to try my best to get to see everyone as much as possible. Let the movie nights, dinners, & last minute mall sessions begin! If I don't get to see you, don't be offended, I'm trying my best.

And so the countdown begins...

I'm down to less than two weeks before I leave for Florida and I can barely contain my excitement!!! Soon, I'll be living in the Happiest Place on Earth. The best part? I actually get college credit to spend seven months soaking up the sun in Florida. And they call this work??

The thing I'm most excited for I think is the chance to get away from Texas for a bit and experience a completely different version of the South. Beaches, Cuban influences, and nights that seem to go on and on. Of course I'll miss everyone back home but I think the sacrifice will be well worth the memories to come.

At this point in the game, I'm still slacking in the departure preparation area. You can always count on a master procrastinator to leave everything up until the last possible second. Time crunches are my forte.

My agenda for the next week includes:

•    Filling out all necessary employment papers
•    Putting the finishing touches on decorations for my new home in Florida
•    Compiling a list of items to bring along on my grand adventure
•    Attempting to make it through two more excruciating weeks in the 806...
